xenophage destiny 2: The Guardian of Truth is an online role-playing video game where you play the role of an archaeologist who, using powerful artifacts, must defeat the evilmage responsible for the death of his home town. The game starts with a bang as you find yourself in the center of a massive explosion – seemingly caused by some vampire rat-thing. You find yourself amidst a strange, hostile world where a great barrier has blocked the path to the city’s gate, and it is up to you to seek out the lost ancient runes that can open the way. Once you locate and activate the symbols on the map, the gateway opens, and your adventure begins. However, things aren’t as simple as you may think…
The goal of the game is to find and defeat the fourth sculptures in order to enter the city gates. Each of the four sculptures is guarded by a powerful creature called the Gatekeeper, who seeks to keep the entries closed. The story line revolves around you finding the lost four stones and returning them to the boss room. When reaching the top of the map you are confronted by a huge gate that blocks your progress, and another equally large gate blocks the exit. The fourth statue in the group is guarded by three creatures, and you are required to defend them while using your new energy weapons to kill the creatures surrounding the gate.
As in the first part of the game, in this part you have to use a variety of weapons in order to kill the creatures and open the gate. The difficulty increases dramatically as you move on to the next stage, where each of the four sculptures requires you to use a different weapon type to kill the creatures surrounding them. A few minutes later, after you kill all the creatures and reach the end of the level you will be confronted by the final opponent, the guardian of truth himself. Before he is defeated you can activate the runes that will allow you to enter the city gates.
The second encounter with the Gatekeeper is extremely difficult, as in this subsequent stage the Gatekeeper will transform into a dragon-like creature that is almost twice as large as you are. It is also armed with three rows of strong flame spouts which can easily cause you damage or set you on fire. If you fail to kill the monster in this way it will transform once again into its traditional form and force you to fight him in the open air.
Upon reaching him the fight will become incredibly difficult as he will begin to shoot deadly fireballs at you. If you want to survive this encounter you must learn how to use your new weapons effectively, as well as learn about the new runes that will give you the edge you need in this battle. In addition to using the new weapons in this quest the fate 2 guide describes in detail the manner in which you can activate the runes. This helps make the subsequent phase of this quest much more enjoyable.
When you return to the surface you are greeted by the same fate guards who greeted you at the beginning of the game, and they have also transformed into dragons. They now seem to be bent on revenge for the death of their leader, and they are going to use their powerful fire spouts to attack you. When you are in their area they can summon a massive amount of fiery gas in order to burn you to death, so it is advised that you stay away from these enemies at all times. Instead you should focus your attention on the guard that is positioned directly in front of you. Once this enemy has been killed you can proceed to the next encounter.
In this encounter the objective is to find the imprisoned Emperor, defeat him, and take his sword, The Eternal Sword, which is required for further progression through the game. The first thing that you must do is locate the prison cells where the Emperor is being held. You will notice that there are many symbols carved into the walls, which translate as follows: “The Emperor has been reborn. The Emperor has been reunited with his soul. The Emperor has been returned to his rightful place.”
If you complete one or more of these two objectives you will automatically gain access to the next area, the Xenophage. Here you will find a number of lost souvenirs that can be collected in this quest. If you collect all the lost items that are listed you will obtain the final prize that is required for the completion of this second part of the tale of Xenophage Destiny 2: The Lost Souvenir. This prize includes the Xenophage Elite, which is a powerful war machine that is only available after you have completed all the secondary objectives of the tale.
